We planted the 40X100 pumpkin garden on Saturday. Then on Sunday we had a nice slow misty rain most of the day. Plants are standing up to take sunshine today. 80 plants were put in, should be a bumper crop come fall. Harry
You guys are a hoot. We put in a big patch so the grandkids can come over in the fall and pick them. It’s always a good time with a cookout and a few libations. Harry
I cultivated the garden today with the Troybilt that has been repowered with a OHV 13hp Honda engine. It runs so sweet and works up my heavy clay soil fine. It is a bit slow but I always love to take it out of the tractor barn and use it. Harry
Looks like the pumpkin garden survived the approximate 2” of rain we got. That’s how much the water level rose in my pool. Already have a few baseball size pumpkins out there. Kinda early but it is what it is. Harry
