Well. Still at the wood splitting today. Won’t be tomorrow or Sunday. Rain coming. But made great progress at it. Had help this afternoon. So that speeds things up greatly.

Well, I’m still plugging along at the wood. Getting it split up now. Son helped on the weekend and that speeded things up. Sister in law help a while today. I’d say it’s about 2.5 times slower with out the second person helping. Still lots to do.

At the wood splitting again this morning. Running the engine at around 2200 to 2300 rpm. Working great.

Sure beats splitting by hand. Does your splitter return on its own? No, it does not Matt. That would be a nice feature to have. Welcome to the site. Lots of info and smart people here. And friendly. I have a 1982 Case 446 and a 1975 Case 224, which is currently in wood splitting mode.

Sounds like you got the belt sorted out. How's the wood splitter work? Plenty of power, reasonable speed? Works great Matt. Last year I put 3” or so hardwood round pieces in the opposite way. And it would cut though them. Not all at once but push a bit stop then push then stop. Do that a few times ...

Case 224 is in splittin mode now, over at my sons place.
I did cut the grass again this week and the belt did not flip. So that’s a good thing.
